You will conduct analyses in chemistry to ensure product quality meets our exceptionally high standards. Your contributions will help determine and maintain the flawless quality of our products, making a world-class impact on our mission to improve lives!
What will you do?
- Conduct routine chemical and physical testing of pharmaceutical finished products and stability samples.
- Complete validated test methods for strength, impurities, identity, and dissolution by HPLC, GC, dissolution, spectroscopy, and traditional quantitative analysis.
- Clearly and accurately detail and communicate test results.
- Record and report analysis results in accordance with prescribed lab procedures and systems.
- Recognize and report any out-of-specification or unexpected results and non-routine analytical and product problems.
- Perform daily instrument calibrations/verifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, instrumentation, and testing materials.
- Clean HPLC and dissolution systems after use.
- Perform all duties in strict compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practice, Good Laboratory Practices, and Safety guidelines.
- Maintain the compliance status required by company and facility standards.
- Bachelors degree in physical science, preferably in Chemistry or Biology.
- Equivalent combinations of education, training, and meaningful work experience may be considered.
- Experience performing chemical tests with chromatographic, spectroscopic, dissolution, or other analytical techniques preferred.
- Good knowledge and understanding of basic instrumental technologies.
- Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative chemical analysis.
- Awareness of quality and regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Good problem-solving skills and logical approach to solving scientific problems.
- Good oral and written skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical procedures and governmental regulations.
- Ability to apply mathematical operations to tasks such as determination of test reliability, analysis of variance, and correlation techniques.
- Previous experience with HPLC, Spectroscopic, Dissolution, or Wet Chemistry techniques.
- Previous experience in small molecules (Finished Product and/or API) preferred
Ability to move around offices; stand, walk, kneel, crouch occasionally; lift 10-35 pounds; use hands, fingers, eyes, sit, reach, talk, hear.
