Candidates who demonstrate the following knowledge, skills, and abilities, will be given first consideration OR Successful candidates will address the following Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities in their cover letter. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of radiochemistry research and radiopharmaceutical production, including safety protocols and regulatory requirements. They should have skills in analytical techniques, quality control, and laboratory procedures, along with the ability to troubleshoot issues. Effective communication, attention to detail, and adaptability are essential. An advanced degree in a related field or relevant experience are beneficial. Willing to work in flexible timing as required for the facility's production calendar.
Education: Master's Degree Preferred Minimum; focus in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or similar field preferred
Key Job Responsibilities:
Prepares and validates equipment and stages materials for manufacturing operations
Develops and executes Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Manufacturing Formulas (MFs) to support manufacturing activities
Plans and executes client projects, serves as a main point of contact, and provides updates on project components and timelines to stakeholders as needed
Completes manufacturing documentation, prepares reports, and presents findings to internal and external audiences
Develops manufacturing processes to produce scalable, repeatable methods to achieve required levels of quality and purity
Leads process development and current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) manufacturing of biopharmaceuticals for use in various clinical trials

Compensation:
The starting salary for the position is $80,000; but is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

Required Qualifications:
Experience with radiochemistry research and radiopharmaceutical production (at least 2 years), including safety protocols and regulatory requirements
Skills in analytical techniques, quality control, and laboratory procedures, along with the ability to troubleshoot issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with radiochemistry research and a demonstrated understanding of the synthesis and quality control (QC) equipment (at least 5 years)
Experience in Good Manufacturing Practices (at least 5 years). Proven knowledge of GMP and regulatory compliance covering all areas: aseptic procedures, general QC procedures, facility maintenance, documentation, etc.
Radiopharmaceutical experience in the radiolabeling and quality control of compounds (at least 5 years). Includes demonstrated understanding and experience with standard analytical equipment: HPLC, TLC, GC, aseptic procedures.
Lab work in radiochemistry or related fields/areas (at least 5 years). Includes experience with LabLogic or similar radiochromatography software packages, experience with 18F, synthesis platforms, especially the Trasis AIO or Synthra platforms.
Education:
Master's Degree Preferred Minimum; focus in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or similar field preferred
Candidates with a master's degree or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a similar field will be given first consideration.
