Exciting 2 year development opportunity to work for a global leader dedicated to helping people see brilliantly. The largest device company in the world - with complementary businesses in Surgical and Vision Care - is hiring a Research Scientist to join their team!
Pay: $35-40/hr
Location: Fort Worth, TX (Onsite)
Schedule: M-F 8a-5p
Responsibilities
Develop solutions and emulsions for the formulation of medical device applications
Conduct lab experiments following GxP guidelines
Assist with formulation and process development
Collaboration on Design of Experiments (DOE)
Support the scale-up of new products.
Analyze and summarize data for technical reports and presentations
Support documentation: batch records, SOPs, protocols, and reports
Work independently and manage tasks under tight deadlines
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Colloid Chemistry, or Surface Chemistry required; MS or PhD preferred
Strong hands-on skills in formulation and material characterization
Experience working with polymer solutions, emulsions, and tools such as rheometers and microscopes
Background in a regulated manufacturing environment, such as pharmaceutical or medical device industries
