Description What Youll Do

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory analysescovering chemistry, hematology, immunology, and much moreaccording to established protocols.
• Evaluate results for correctness, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and handle preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist in sample collection and prepare specimens for testing when required.
• Document all laboratory procedures conscientiously, mentor new staff or students, and ensure adherence to lab quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment while upholding regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelors degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or related allied health degree plus preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of employment.
• Maintain current certification for the duration of your employment.
