Description What You Will Do

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests across various domains including chemistry, hematology, and immunology with adherence to established protocols.
• Evaluate results for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and execute preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Support specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Thoroughly document all processes, assist in training new staff or students, and contribute to maintaining high lab quality standards.
• Ensure a safe and organized work environment while complying with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelors degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree, in preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) obtained within the first year of employment.
• Keep certification current throughout your tenure.
