Description
About Immunai
Immunai is an engineering-first platform company aiming to improve therapeutic decision-making throughout the drug discovery and development process. We are mapping the immune system at unprecedented scale and granularity and applying machine learning to this massive clinico-immune database, in order to generate novel insights into disease pathology for our partners - pharma companies and research institutes. We provide a comprehensive, end-to-end solution - from data generation and curation to therapeutics development, that continuously supports and validates the capabilities of our platform.
As drug development is becoming increasingly inefficient, our ultimate goal is to help bring breakthrough medicines to patients as quickly and successfully as possible.
Immunai is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
About the Role
As a Senior Scientist in our Discovery & Preclinical group, you will drive execution of immunology-focused projects using cutting-edge genomic technologies. You will plan and execute complex experiments, mentor junior scientists, and collaborate across teams to advance projects from target discovery to preclinical development. Your work will directly inform critical go/no-go decisions.

What will you do?
- Support current Functional Genomics capabilities in order to test in-silico predictions, support target discovery, validate causal mechanisms, and evaluate preclinical stage assets
- Introduce novel Functional Genomics capabilities and other molecular biology tools and assay in order to expand internal expertise and mature a therapeutic platform
- Design and execute complex experiments to translate genomic data into actionable therapeutic hypotheses utilizing in vitro/ex vivo immune cell-based assays
- Work closely with other senior scientists, immunologists and the computational team to generate testable hypotheses and prioritize assets based on observational data and cohort studies
- Collaborate closely with the other members of the Discovery and Preclinical Applications team to identify or test hypotheses around genetic targets
- Mentor junior level scientists
