• Support specimen collection efforts and adequately prepare samples for testing as necessary.
• Meticulously document all lab procedures, provide training to new team members or students, and assist in sustaining laboratory quality assurance standards.
• Uphold a clean and secure workspace while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelors degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health field, accompanied by preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain certification status throughout employment.
