A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Research Associate III/Mass Spec Specialist Position type: Full-time Contract Duration: 12 months Location: Indianapolis IN Shift: 2nd - 2nd Shift 2 pm - 10 pm. As a Research Associate III / Mass Spec Specialist, your responsibilities:The Mass Spec Specialist starts routine analyses on LCMS systems in compliance with applicable methods, protocols, SOPs, and regulatory agency guidelines. Capable of complex analyses using new methods/technology, asking for scientific guidance as needed. Exp with LC-MS / 4-7 years / running, troubleshoot, maintenance and SME. Hands-on experience with LC-MS must be needed. Hiring for the Bioanalytical group for LabCorp / Clinical studies / testing for clients around the area/globally. Bioanalytical group - R D, which is a smaller group of LabCorp / Diagnostics is a large group on the other side of LabCorp. Tools used: SCIEX LC-MS / KOMATSU LC MS / Waters LCs / Mass Specs / internal training AB SCIEX 4500 LCMS, SCIEX Triple Quad 3500, 4500, 5500, and 6500+. SCIEX QTRAP 5500 and 6500Will perform in depth cleaning and maintenance on instrumentation in accordance with protocols, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines.5-7 years related or relevant laboratory experience.Advanced experience with the use of high-pressure liquid chromatography systems and mass spectrometers is required.Experience with other laboratory equipment, electronic Laboratory notebook systems and LIMS is desired.Good communication skills. Requirements:Bachelors of Science/Arts (BS/BA) degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related scientific field.Relevant laboratory experience may be substituted for education.Ability to perform basic computer skills (e.g., Word, Excel).
