Job Responsibilities

• Conduct both routine and specialized clinical lab tests, ranging from chemistry and hematology to immunology and beyond, adhering strictly to established protocols.
• Examine test findings for precision, troubleshoot issues, and maintain essential calibration and preventive maintenance on laboratory equipment.
• Support specimen collection processes and prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Document procedures meticulously, mentor new hires or students, and contribute to maintaining high lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe laboratory environment while strictly following regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health credential, with preparations for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Ongoing maintenance of certification is required throughout your employment.
