Job Description:
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
-Lead advanced manufacturing process development with a focus on molding and coil winding technologies.
-Drive the development of equipment and tooling to support scalable, long-term production solutions.
-Conduct feasibility studies, material selection, and test method development to ensure efficient and compliant manufacturing processes.
-Develop prototypes and support early-stage concept ideation through hands-on experimentation and process refinement.
-Collect and analyze process data to identify root causes, drive issue resolution, and ensure processes meet performance specifications.
-Utilize statistical methods, data mining, and direct observation to evaluate and continuously improve manufacturing techniques.
-Document lab activities, experiments, and key technical learnings in a clear and organized manner.
-Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to cross-functional project and functional teams.
-Ensure all manufacturing processes and deliverables adhere to relevant regulatory and quality standards.
Requirement:
Must Have (Minimum Requirements):
Bachelor's degree in engineering
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
Demonstrated strong mechanical aptitude
Strong Interest and passion for manufacturing process technologies
Troubleshooting, problem-solving mindset
Ability to effectively communicate experimentation approach and results
Ability to work effectively with cross functional team
Nice to Have:
Prior Medical Device/Pharma experience
Strong background in manufacturing/operations role
Moldflow experience, knowledge
CAD, design experience
Working knowledge of Statistics.
Working knowledge of Design of Experiments and familiarity with Statistical software such as Minitab.
Experience in process and equipment validation
