Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician (ASCP) to join a dynamic team in Columbus, OH. This role involves performing high-complexity testing, ensuring accurate diagnostics, and maintaining compliance with laboratory protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate’s Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or related field (accredited program).
  • Licensure: Must have American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP)
  • Experience: 1+ year as a generalist (preferred).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in specimen processing, QC, calibrations, and lab instrumentation.
  • Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, strong communication, and teamwork abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • This position is responsible for performing specimen collection, processing, testing and resulting in accordance with laboratory policy and procedure manual.
  • Performs quality control, maintenance, and calibrations for all analytical testing.
  • Assist in the collection of Chain-of-Custody Urine Drug Screens, Breath Alcohol Testing and Hair samples for Occupational Health.
  • Participates in performance improvement activities of the department and daily management of infection prevention and control activities.
