Shift/Schedule: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

Overview:
A leading clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company is seeking an Associate Scientist, Protein Purification Sciences, to support a growing pipeline of CDMO programs. This role will focus on executing AKTA chromatography runs for process characterization and column lifetime studies to meet high-volume project demands. The ideal candidate brings strong industry experience in protein purification, particularly using Cytiva systems, and is comfortable working in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities:

• Chromatography Process Characterization & Validation Studies: Execute small-scale purification studies using AKTA Pure or similar systems; follow quality-approved protocols
• Data Analysis and Scientific Reporting: Analyze and interpret data, troubleshoot technical issues, and prepare technical reports and summaries
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams to support project goals and ensure timelines are met

• Bachelors degree in Life Sciences (with 4+ years of relevant experience)
  OR Masters degree (with at least 2 years of experience)
• Industry-based experience in protein purification is required
• Hands-on proficiency with AKTA Pure or related Cytiva chromatography systems
• Strong grasp of protein purification techniques, DoE methodologies, and process development
• Experience with validation protocols and working in regulated environments is a plus
