Description Responsibilities Youll Undertake

• Conduct routine and complex laboratory testsspanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and morefollowing established laboratory protocols.
• Evaluate test results meticulously for precision, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and carry out preventive maintenance and calibration of lab equipment.
• Aid in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as required.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new staff or students, and help maintain the lab's quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe work environment while remaining compliant with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education Requirements

• A Bachelors degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree along with ASCP/AMT certification preparedness.

Necessary Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be acquired within one year of hire.
• Maintain current certification throughout employment tenure.
