Position Summary
This position conducts research by independently performing components of a research project or program as directed by a senior research team member. The Research Associate II will be involved in the planning, implementing, and evaluating of research projects. Will independently conduct work complementary to the overall research objectives, including data management, analysis, and report writing.
Duties & Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
- A masters degree in social science or a related field (degree must be conferred by the start date).
- A minimum of one year of related research experience.
- Knowledge of research concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience setting up and conducting evaluations and preparing reports for federal, state, and local grant projects using sound research methods.
- Advanced statistical knowledge and appropriate statistical software, such as SAS, SPSS, or R, and data management and visualization techniques.
- Ability to design, administer, and analyze surveys, including online survey implementation.
- Qualities such as responsiveness, flexibility, and willingness to accommodate clients timelines and information needs are vital.
- Able to work independently, manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks concurrently.
