Were looking f or a senior level engineer to be part of our growing team of technologists. In this role , youll write software alon gside a team of global engineers on projects that matter to our customers and business travelers, and have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers. What Youll Do

• Design and implement next-generation highly scalable, and reliable SaaS applications

• Translate functional specifications into logical, com ponen t-based technical designs

• Own delivery of application features end-to-end by working with product and engineering teams

• Innovate and implement new ideas to solve software problems and improve customer experience

• Partic ipate in design and code reviews

• Work closely with geographically distributed team members

• Mentor, support and develop junior engineers

• Seek and share domain and industry knowledge with the team to improve engineering practices

What Were Looking For

• Bachelors or masters degree in computer science or equivalent

• 6+ years of experience in software development

• Core skills and knowledge areas:

• Front-end web technologies (JavaScript, Node, or React)

• Enterprise web applications (Java, Kotlin, or Spring)

• Object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms

• SDLC and agile methodologies, and agile tools and programming practices

• CI-CD principles and technologies

• A WS services and building deployment pipelines

• Strong understanding of distributed systems

• B uilding and delivering multi-tenant cloud-native SaaS software

• Passionate about collaboration and incorporating feedback from partners

• Passion for maintaining high-quality standards in software development

• Communicates complex information in a concise and clear way to technical and non-technical partners

Location

The US national annual base salary range for this position is from $120,000 to $240,000. The national range provided includes the base salary that GBT expects to pay for the role. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidates relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
