Chemistry Laboratory Technician

Chemistry Lab Technician Refinery Corpus Christi, TX area Kelly Science is currently recruiting for a Lab Technician with a Refinery in the Corpus Christi, TX area. In this role, you will be a core member of the Quality Control (QC) lab team, focusing on testing and analyzing materials. Job Responsibilities: Inspect, test, and release lithium materials according to QC lab procedures. Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized lab space. Operate and maintain various lab equipment, including ICP-OES, for material characterization. Conduct chemical and physical analyses using advanced techniques like ICP-OES, Tap Density, PSA, XRD, and IC. Document all test data accurately and precisely in the quality database. Continuously improve lab processes to increase productivity, reduce costs, and minimize waste. Job Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Science, or relevant experience (or equivalent experience). Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in an analytical lab, preferably with metallurgy, inorganic chemistry, or materials science. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with advanced analytical techniques for material characterization is a must. Excellent organizational, data management, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and take initiative. Strong safety focus and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and communicate fluently in English (written and verbal). Job Details: Competitive hourly rate $28-30 per hour. BOE Flexible work schedule during training (Monday-Friday, 8:00 am 5:00 pm, transitioning to a 24-hour Dupont rotating schedule 5 days on and 5 days off 5am-5pm).
