Immediate Opening: Clinical Laboratory Technician

About the Role:

Were seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technician to support patient testing in a fast-paced Central Processing Lab. You'll handle pre-analytic specimen processing, operate lab equipment, and ensure accurate data entry and specimen documentationall crucial to maintaining diagnostic excellence.

What Youll Do:

  • Process specimens before analysis
  • Operate automated lab and office systems
  • Accurately enter test orders into the database
  • Answer calls regarding test details and procedures
  • Confirm proper patient identification and labeling
  • Troubleshoot and resolve pre-analytic specimen issues
  • Prepare complex reagents and maintain inventory
  • Train fellow lab team members
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in a biological or chemical science (Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, etc.)
  • Solid experience with laboratory testing and instrumentation troubleshooting
  • Healthcare experience is a plus
  • OPT candidates welcome
  • Masters degree accepted (PhDs and engineering degrees excluded)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
