The purpose of the Research Associate role is to support Trait Evaluation Operations' efforts to produce and distribute quality seed with precision, accuracy and efficiency. This role will primarily focus on seed lab activities - seed preparation, shipping, and inventory management.

Accountabilities

• Coordinate nursery trial packaging activities.
• Execute all seed requests in a timely manner.
• Manage all seed inventory activities such as storage, organization, retention, accuracy, and discarding.
• Implement strong ways of working to maintain integrity of seed inventory, packaging, field layout, pollinating, threshing and data collection.
• Train and mentor junior team members and seasonal staff in operational and/or agronomic processes.
• Function as an integral member of the TE Operations team.
• Perform all tasks and behave in a manner compliant with and in support of all safety and stewardship related company policies and practices, including completing all required company training courses.
• Effectively communicate regularly with peers and supervisors regarding the status of projects and work activities.
• Assist in other operational activities of planting, pollinating, and harvest as needed.
