We are seeking a Polymer Process Engineer with experience in PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) to join our team. This is ideal for someone who thrives both in the laboratory and on the production floor!
Schedule: M-F 8-5p
Salary: 90K-120K
Location: Dalton, GA
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and resolve daily technical issues in production
Analyze defects and optimize formulas or processes for better output
Use data analysis and statistical tools to identify opportunities for cost savings, efficiency, and sustainability
Document process changes, results, and recommendations through technical reports
Assist with scaling up R D projects from lab to production
Evaluate new materials and vendor proposals for performance and runnability
Support initiatives in green chemistry, recycling, and upcycling
Lead technical aspects of product development using Design for Six Sigma and Stage-Gate processes
Act as a liaison between manufacturing, marketing, procurement, and R D
Oversee development timelines and ensure successful full-scale product launches
Qualifications:
B.S. in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, or Materials Science
Experience in PVC-related industrial processes
Proven experience in laboratory and manufacturing environments
Experience optimizing and troubleshooting formulations
Bilingual in Chinese / English or Spanish / English
