Description What Youll Do

• Conduct both routine and advanced clinical laboratory testsincluding chemistry, hematology, and immunologywhile adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for accuracy, troubleshoot errors, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibrations on laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as necessary.
• Document all procedures meticulously, train new personnel or students, and uphold quality standards in the laboratory.
• Ensure a clean, safe workspace and comply with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelors degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health qualification along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain active certification throughout employment.
