• Assist in specimen collection and efficiently prepare samples for testing when necessary.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, provide training to new colleagues or students, and ensure adherence to quality standards within the lab.
• Maintain a clean and safe laboratory space, complying with all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelors degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent qualification in allied health is required, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Attain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within the first year of employment.
• Maintain active certification throughout your tenure.
