Research Associates in this role play a key part in supporting our client projects by providing responsive technical assistance to clients and project coordination support for project managers. They help build the capacity of community partners, contribute substantively to client-facing deliverables, develop tools and resources, and manage day-to-day project tasks. Working closely with project managers, Research Associates also ensure that projects are delivered with quality, timeliness, and care. This role will focus significant time on projects in our behavioral health practice area.

- Attention to detail and accountability , with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and uphold high standards in project work.
- Training or experience in applied research methods (qualitative or quantitative), typically a masters degree or a bachelors degree with at least two years of work experience.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
What this role will look like
As a Research Associate Technical Assistance at Omni Institute, you will play a support role on project teams while building your skills and experience. You will work closely with project managers and senior staff to keep projects on track, provide responsive technical assistance to client partners, and contribute to high-quality deliverables.
Some of your typical work may include:
- Assisting with project coordination tasks such as scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, documenting meeting notes, and tracking follow-up items.
- Supporting client communications by drafting emails, preparing materials, and summarizing updates for project managers.
- Helping to develop tools and resources (e.g., templates, summaries, training slides) that can be used by community partners.
- Participating in technical assistance activities by providing logistical support for trainings, preparing handouts, or helping to answer client questions.
- Assisting with data collection and analysis tasks such as entering or organizing survey responses, preparing focus group guides, or helping to summarize participant feedback.
- Supporting literature reviews by identifying relevant articles and summarizing key points.
- Monitoring project timelines and tasks in collaboration with project managers to ensure deadlines are met.
- Learning from your teams and gradually taking on more responsibility for project components as you gain experience.

This is a full-time position with an annual salary of $53,045 plus benefits*, which include:

Location
This is a remote position anywhere within the continental US states.
Omni Institutes headquarters are in Denver, CO, where we have an office for staff to work from. Employees who work from home/remotely must have a suitable home office environment. We try to limit work travel, but employees can expect some travel for client meetings, conferences, or company meetings (expected up to 5% of the time).

We provide research, evaluation, and capacity building services through a project-based client consulting model.
