Description What Youll Do

• Conduct both routine and advanced tests in the lab, including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, adhering to established methodologies.
• Ensure result accuracy by analyzing data, troubleshooting any discrepancies, and maintaining lab equipment through regular calibration and maintenance.
• Be involved in specimen collection and prepare samples for various tests, as required.
• Keep meticulous documentation of all procedures, assist in training new hires or students, and help maintain high standards of laboratory quality.
• Uphold a safe and clean work environment while complying with all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Hold a Bachelors degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree, and be ASCP/AMT certified or eligible.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Certification must be maintained throughout your employment.
