Java Developer with Gen AI & Python

4 Months Contract Position

Newark, NJ (Remote)

Required:

• Strong Java experience - this is our primary language
• 15+ years experience
• Proficient in the AWS ecosystem such as Lambda, SNS, SQS, Kinesis, CloudWatch, IAM, S3, EventBridge, ECS, DynamoDB, CDK
• CI/CD pipeline experience (creating/modifying pipelines, integration testing, deployment)
• Microservices: designing new services and modifying existing ones
• REST API integration (GET/PUT operations)
• Independent work style with cross-team collaboration

Preferred/Nice to have:

• Amazon experience
• GenAI experience
• Python (note my team primarily uses Java)
• REST API service development
