Medical Lab Scientists in the NW Dallas Area

Kelly Science & Clinical is currently seeking candidates for several Medical Lab Scientist positions at a diagnostic lab in the NW Dallas area. As a part of the laboratory operations team, youll play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and integrity while meeting the needs of the companys patients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Specimen handling, processing, testing, and reporting of patient results following approved laboratory procedures
  
• Review and release test results accurately and efficiently
  
• Follow established laboratory policies when test systems fall outside acceptable performance levels
  
• Identify and troubleshoot issues affecting test performance or result reporting
  
• Communicate issues to senior technologists or supervisors as necessary
  
• Adhere to CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety guidelines
  
• Maintain records demonstrating proficiency testing for patient specimens

Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related discipline is required
  
• Degree plan MUST include 25 credit hours of Chemistry to include 1 Analytical Chemistry/Instrumental Analysis type course (transcripts will be required)
  
• 1 year of clinical experience is required
  
• Experience with LC-MS or ICP-MS would be a plus

Available Shifts:

• Wednesday-Sunday 3:00 PM 11:30 PM
  
• Tuesday-Saturday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
  
• Sunday-Thursday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
  
• Tuesday-Friday 11:00 PM 9:30 AM
  
• Training will be on the day shift and then you will transition to assigned shift after completing the training
