Research Associate - Environmental Health
To support ICFs dynamic growth and expanding client base, we are seeking an ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH RESEARCH ASSOCIATE to work in our Health Science Portfolio. This group of 100+ science professionals provides toxicology, hazard assessment, epidemiology, risk assessment, exposure assessment, computational methods, environmental modeling, and related support that addresses the full spectrum of potentially hazardous agents, including chemicals and microbes. We specialize in identifying and quantifying the effects of environmental pollutants, such as metals, pesticides, and volatile organic compounds, on human health and the environment.
The Research Associate's project work would support federal agencies, such as the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH), in developing and evaluating traditional and computational approaches and new approach methods (NAMs) and providing support services to meet these goals.
*The preferred work location is Durham, North Carolina; however, the candidate may be authorized to work remotely. *
Basic Requirements:
Masters degree in a relevant field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in scientific and technical writing and in leading the development of various forms of correspondence, preferably as editor of large project documents and comprehensive reports
Expertise and experience in new approach methods (NAMs) or a related scientific field

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
$55,388.00 - $94,160.00
