Summary

A leading agriscience research organization is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Analytical Chemist to join its dynamic,

multi-disciplinary R&D team. This entry-level role supports method development, non-GLP and GLP validations, and sample analyses critical to crop

protection innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist scientists with sample weighing, preparation, and analysis of active ingredients, intermediates, impurities, and formulation products for both quantitative and qualitative purposes.
• Support laboratory experiments for method validation under non-GLP and GLP conditions.
• Operate and maintain analytical instrumentation such as HPLC, GC, LC/GC/MS, and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Process analytical data and document experiments promptly to ensure data integrity and quality.
• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders and adapt to shifting priorities and urgent project needs.
• Demonstrate initiative and the ability to work independently when required.
• Adhere to all environmental health, safety, and sustainability (EHS&S) standards and promote a culture of safety.

Required Skills & Expertise

• Hands-on experience in laboratory techniques and analytical chemistry.
• Proficiency with instruments such as HPLC, GC, LCMS, and related chromatographic methods.
• Familiarity with titration, Karl Fischer analysis, and sample preparation protocols.
• Understanding of GLP/GMP standards and quality control procedures.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Chemistry (Other science degrees may be considered with relevant chemistry experience).
• Minimum 6 months of laboratory experience performing analytical chemistry (Industry experience preferred).
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, research-driven environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
