Research Scientist in Ovarian Toxicology Comparative Biosciences

Position Description: TheUniversity of Illinois Urbana Champaign invites applications for a research scientistin ovarian toxicology (full time, 12 months) in the Department of ComparativeBiosciences. Outstanding scientists who conduct research on the effects ofenvironmental chemicals and nanoparticles on the ovary are encouraged to apply.We are particularly interested in investigators who have a strong reproductivetoxicology background. The successfulcandidate is expected to contribute to ongoing projects on the effects ofendocrine disrupting chemicals on the ovary and to develop their own researchprogram in the field of ovarian/reproductive toxicology.

Qualifications: Candidatesmust have a Ph.D. in toxicology or related field and at least three years of postdoctoralexperience in the field of reproductive toxicology. Candidates should have acutting-edge research program, a strong publication record, and evidence oftheir potential to compete successfully for extramural funds.

Salary: This is a 12-month position. Salary is $60,000 - $70,000.
