Managing Chemist Jobs in Texas
A Managing Chemist in the chemistry industry is responsible for overseeing the operations and personnel of a laboratory or research facility. They handle various tasks including the design and execution of laboratory testing in line with standard testing procedures, recording and analyzing data, and ensuring the proper functioning of lab machinery. They should also have proficiency in using lab software and equipment, and a thorough understanding of laboratory health and safety protocols. Prior to becoming a Managing Chemist, one might work as a Laboratory Technician, Research Chemist, or Senior Chemist, gradually acquiring the necessary skills and experience.
