Job Description

At GERSTEL, Inc. our core purpose is to sell sample preparation and introduction systems for chemical analysis with an emphasis on innovative automation, to help our customers, employees and partners have fulfilling and successful careers. We are currently looking for a New Jersey/New York/Philidelphia based, self-motivated Direct Sales Representative to deliver sales results through the implementation of effective sales strategies. Other qualities include:

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Customer focused and consultative
  • Great business acumen
  • Passionate about all aspects of the sales process
  • Proven track record of sales target achievement
  • Builds relationships with decision makers and technical buyers
  • Time, territory and account management organizational skills
  • Field-based sales with 80+% travel required in New Jersey/New York/Philadelphia
  • Technical expertise in sample preparation and introduction for chemical analysis using GC/MS and LC/MS systems
  • Degree in Analytical Chemistry or related discipline
