Position Summary:
The Senior Research Associate at the Analytical Services and Training Laboratory will be proficient in developing advanced MS techniques (MS/MS) for glycoproteins, oligosaccharides, and peptides in collaborative and time-sensitive projects. They will need to possess a strong background in carbohydrates and MS techniques, particularly on orbitraps, to tackle challenging analyses. Proficiency in isolating and purifying polysacchrides and glycoproteins from diverse sources, coupled with adeptness in writing, editing, and collaborating on manuscripts and reviews, is essential. Moreover, they will excel in training colleagues in structural characterization techniques and may contribute to teaching and organizing training courses as required. Flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as assigned is needed.
