Schedule:Monday - Friday (8:00am-4:30pm) Chemical Operator is responsible for: Utilizing proper methods for mixing chemicals into solutions and dry applications, most notably stains and dyes, during the manufacturing process. Ensuring high productivity, reproducibility and quick product changes are met with chemical production processes that comply with rigorous quality and safety standards as well as strict environmental regulations. Accountabilities in this role: Weighing chemicals to specific formulated quantities Following all manufacturing instructions on formulation sheets while using proper compounding techniques to ensure product quality. Working knowledge of pumps, mixers, scales, and use of a forklift. Ability to set-up, load, operate, and monitor all blending equipment, mixing equipment, pumps, and filtration units. Following all 5S and Good Manufacturing procedures to maintain good housekeeping and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations. Cleaning of tanks, pumps, transfer lines, hoses, equipment, and chemical containers used. Proper sampling of batches submitted to the lab for evaluation. Adherence of Safety Data Sheets Maintaining proper documentation and electronic records. In process testing and batch adjustments Adaptable, willing, and expected to support all operational tasks within the facility as requested Equal Opportunity Employer
