Job Summary
IFF is looking for an entry-level engineer to join our R D Process Team. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual who can engage in collaborative projects, execute process and pilot lab activities concerned with the R D development and production of new and improved products.
Works in collaboration with others to advance projects.
Participates in the design and execution of experiments.
Troubleshoots problems when they occur.
Analyzes data from a variety of laboratory techniques and instruments.
Provide input for modifying techniques and evaluating designs.
Evaluates equipment and processes for repeatability and suggest improvements as necessary
Investigates new technologies, manufacturing methods and equipment to meetpetitive business needs and improve efficiency
Foster a high level of creativity and innovation
Documents experiments, makes technical presentations, and contributes to progress/technical reports.
Maintains familiarity with current scientific literature in related discipline to stay current in new techniques that can be used internally to support project needs and knowledge-building within the functional group.
Participates in Department meetings and other functional activities.
Communicates technical ideas and concepts as well as research results with project and functional teams regularly.
Interacts and networks outside functional team and beyond the project team.
Develops understanding of how the broader R D team isanized and works together.
Interacts as part of a team with internal and/or external customers to support the relationship
Takes on laboratory safety tasks or role to solve potential safety and environmental problems within their immediate work area or group.

Educational requirement: Bachelors in Engineering
Experience: 0-1 year
