Location: New Orleans, LA
Pay: $23-$24/hr
Schedule: 1st shift
Responsibilities:
Retrieve samples from Sample Control for analysis.
Conduct sample preparation tasks, including but not limited to: aliquoting, spiking, and tracing samples; preparing reagents and concentrations; separating and sonication; bottling samples; and setting up liquid racks.
Resolve discrepancies and anomalies to ensure proper labeling and identification of samples.
Prepare and maintain general laboratory documentation, including analysis results, sample tracking, bench sheets, and lab logbooks.
Wash and sterilize laboratory glassware for use in subsequent testing.
Monitor and stock laboratory supplies to maintain readiness for daily operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's of science degree is highly preferred.
1-2 years of relevant laboratory experience.
