Associate Director or Sr . Principal Scientist II/Process Development

Out client is looking to fill the role of Associate Director/Director, Senior Principal Scientist III Process Development.

• Comp range: $135K- $220K depending on level of candidate

Responsibilities:

• Lead process and analytical development efforts to enhance cell and gene therapy processes, testing, and products.
• Oversee optimization, scale-up, and technology transfer while ensuring regulatory compliance and quality standards.
• Mentor scientists, manage laboratory operations, and drive innovation through advanced methodologies.
• Provide strategic guidance for process improvements and regulatory submissions.

Requirements:

• Education: Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology, Biomedical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in the cell and gene therapy industry, with at least 2 years managing scientists. Expertise in lentiviral vector processes, cell culture techniques, and analytical assays. Knowledge of regulatory concepts, GMP principles, and stability programs preferred.
