- Conduct research and experiments to develop new products and improve existing ones.

- Develop and maintain detailed documentation of research and development activities.
- Apply scientific principles in research, development, processing technology, packaging, and utilization of ingredients to develop and commercialize new products.
- Participate in production at R&D Pilot Processing Laboratory, including conducting pilot trials, scheduling related activities, and ensuring EHS and food safety compliance.
- Develop new product formulations from bench to pilot scale through commercial execution, providing technical specifications and process recommendations.
- Document key data from research activities, trials, laboratory testing, and commercialization runs.
- Provide pilot laboratory support to customers and other R&D team members in support of project completion.
- Conduct projects through all stages of experimentation, test protocol development, execution, and data generation & interpretation.
- Investigate methods to improve quality of existing products such as flavor, color, texture, nutritional value, and convenience.
- Prepare, produce, and send prototype samples of new products for customer approval.
- Participate in sensory evaluations in product development, ingredient selection, and quality monitoring.
- Create formula specifications, batching, and processing instructions for plant-level operations.
- Work effectively on multidisciplinary teams within the company and with external customers and suppliers.
- Assist with new product and packaging commissioning and related life cycle studies.
- Demonstrate accuracy, thoroughness, and complete projects in a timely manner.
- Follow policies and procedures, and use equipment and materials properly.
- Observe safety and security procedures, reporting potentially unsafe conditions.
- Assist as required with investigation of product quality complaints to identify root causes.
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in food science or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards.
- Master's degree in Food Science or a related field.
- Experience working with juices, coffees, and teas.
- Familiarity with sensory evaluation techniques.
