Process Engineer Job Description Join our dynamic team as a Process Engineer responsible for processing data compilations and generating reports for a petroleum pilot plant. This role involves collaborating with operators to create product blends and utilizing MS Office for report generation and design in AutoPlant/CAD. You will support projects by executing chemical and petroleum lab-scale experiments and compiling test data. Responsibilities Compile and build reports for petroleum pilot plant runs. Will work with electrical team and support process development projects to improve operations and automation Execute chemical and petroleum lab-scale experiments. Build up and report test equipment data. Will help with wiring and install PLC instrumentation ect. Install and maintain equipment and assist with safety procedures. Prepare samples and oversee cleanup of the plant. Lead operators on shifts and manage day-to-day tasks involving pumps, heat trace, high-temperature oils, drum heaters, and chemicals. Essential Skills Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Electrical, or a related field. Proficiency in chemical engineering, chemical manufacturing, instrumentation, PLC Experience with simulation tools and MS Office Suite. Knowledge of circuits, troubleshooting, install of equipment, maintenance Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to handle heat transfer and fluid flow operations. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with P&ID and BOM is preferred. Familiarity with AutoCAD, AutoPlant, SolidWorks, and MS Office. Ability to multitask and complete thermodynamic calculations. Willingness to perform hands-on mechanical tasks. Work Environment This position involves working in a desk and plant/refinery setting. Shifts will vary depending on projects, with advance notice of shift timings. Available shifts include 6am-3pm, 8am-5pm, 10am-10pm, and 12am-9am. The role offers holiday pay for six days, five PTO days, and access to benefits. This is a great opportunity for an entry-level engineer to gain industry experience and see projects from design to completion.
