OverviewPerforms analysis of the raw materials and finished goods following specific instructions from SOPs and analytical procedures.Cross checks the results with the specification limits.Informs supervisor immediately if lab results do not meet specifications. Assists in the completion of laboratory projects.ResponsibilitiesvPerforms analyses including instrumental and automated methods utilizing prescribed procedures and techniques.vMaintains well-documented laboratory notebooks and records.vPerforms calculations to laboratory data into a reportable form.vReports results on the appropriate database (SAP).vInterprets test results.vMaintains customer files in an organized fashion.vCompounds formulas and products for internal use and customers.vAssists RandD Manager/Food Scientist/Flavorist with projects from start to completion.vClean glassware and maintain a clean environment.vRestock chemicals from the stock room.vCheck inventory of RandD samples and dispose them accordingly.vCreate purchase requisitions in SAP.vComplete inventory movements in SAP.vCreate SDS sheets.vAssist in tobacco extraction production.vPrepare RandD samples and send it to the customers.vEnsures safety, housekeeping and compliance issues are maintained.vIt is the responsibility of each employee to work in a safe and responsible manner in order to create an injury free and incident free workplace.vComply with all job related safety and other training requirements.vMay be asked to perform other duties if necessary.vAssist in method development and validation activities.Requirements | QualificationsvBS/BA with a concentration in Chemical or Biological Science and two to four years laboratory experience; or AA/AS in a physical or biological science and four years of experience in a laboratory.v2-4 years of experience in a pharmaceutical or related laboratory.vBroad knowledge of analytical and chemical techniques.v[]{style="font-size: 7pt; font-family: 'Ti"}
