Location: Tarrytown, NY
Type: Contract
Compensation: up to $58/hr
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 8 AM- 5 PM M-F

Responsibilities:
Provide key support to the R&D cell culture needs by cell line inventory management, cell expansion, quality control, and other ancillary activities.

• Maintaining various mammalian cell lines for inventory expansion
• Overseeing general lab maintenance
• Using software to manage tissue culture services and workflows
• Working with automated cell culture and/or cell line storage systems

Requirements:

• BS/MS in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or a related field
• 3-5 years of relevant laboratory experience
• Extensive experience working with tissue culture, including thawing, freezing, maintaining cell lines, etc.
• General lab maintenance and sterile technique is a must.
• Operating automated cell line storage equipment is advantageous.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills in interacting with collaborators across the organization.
