Job Description Conduct laboratory tests to measure parameters such as pH, turbidity, chlorine levels, heavy metals, and microbial contaminants. Operate and maintain laboratory instruments including spectrophotometers, chromatographs, and incubators. Record, analyze, and interpret test results using data analysis software. Prepare detailed reports and communicate findings to regulatory agencies, engineers, and environmental scientists. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal water quality regulations. Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and inspections. Calibrate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment as needed. Follow strict safety and quality assurance protocols. - Degree or in pursuit of a degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or related field.
- At least 1 year of chemistry lab experience from within or outside of school.
