Job Summary
The current position is for Scientist I investigating the role of ceramide metabolism in obesity and related metabolic diseases.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting biomedical research involving mouse models, including colony maintenance and metabolic phenotyping, as well as performing cellular and molecular biology techniques such as ELISA, Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and molecular cloning.
This role requires strong self-motivation, a passion for science, excellent organizational abilities, and outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English.
The candidate will work collaboratively with fellow lab members to coordinate daily research activities, maintain lab equipment and supplies, ensure compliance with safety protocols for material disposal, and contribute to data analysis and reporting.
