Analytical Lab Technician
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Analytical Lab Technician to join our team on the 3rd shift from 11 PM to 7:30 AM, Tuesday through Saturday. You will perform basic wet chemistry techniques for in-process and final testing labs, prepare and run samples of products through analytical instrumentation, and support R&D with pilot plant samples. You will work independently, maintaining documentation, following SOPs, and using a LIMS system, all while being part of a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic wet chemistry techniques for in-process and final testing labs.
  • Prepare and run samples through analytical instrumentation such as HPLC, GC, IR, Titration, Density, FTIR, Viscosity, and pH measurements.
  • Support R&D with pilot plant samples.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow established SOPs.
  • Collect samples for testing from the raw materials lab and receiving area.
  • Work independently while being part of a collaborative team environment.
Essential Skills
  • Experience with wet chemistry or analytical instrumentation such as GC and HPLC, even if only in an academic setting.
  • Punctuality, strong work ethic, and multitasking ability.
  • Proactivity in daily tasks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • BS in a science field preferred, particularly Chemistry or a science degree with a chemistry minor.
  • Associate degree in a science field with chemistry coursework plus 1-2 years of lab experience.
Work Environment

The work environment is an industrial lab setting with a mix of old and new equipment. It can be very fast-paced, especially during peak times like the flu season. The attire is casual, with a lab coat provided. Initially, training will occur on the 1st shift before transitioning to the 3rd shift schedule. You will gain exposure to a wide range of pharmaceutical sciences in an FDA-regulated environment, providing ample growth and learning opportunities.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $21.53/hr.
