The successful candidate will play a key role in investigating metabolic mechanisms underlying aging and age-related disease using state-of-the-art metabolomics techniques, in both cell-based assays and in vivo mouse models. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic research environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, plan, and execute experiments investigating cellular and organismal metabolism
  • Prepare metabolomics and lipidomics samples from tissues, cells, and biofluids and analyze them by LC-MS/MS
  • Conduct mammalian tissue culture and perform standard molecular biology techniques (e.g. nucleic acid extraction, western blot, ELISA)
  • Assist with in vivo experiments, including handling/monitoring mice, tissue collection
  • Analyze and interpret experimental data, prepare figures for, and present at internal meetings
  • Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records in compliance with institutional policies
