- Using previous understanding of R&D, partner with a "Data champions team" of B3 leads and Subject matter experts (SMEs) to help define the corporate needs and the similarities/differences in the requests.
- Partner with IT organization in delivering ~6 new data stream sources through defining the highlevel business need and translating into detailed user requirements
- Provide advisory-level support and technical guidance to 3 FTE members responsible for data quality and help in the prioritization of current business data stream enhancements
- Create and share "success stories" (1/month) training related to the "data space" across R&D, and support the design of DI's personal data map

qualifications:
Required:
- BS degree
- 10+ years' experience in one or more of the following disciplines: analytical chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry, biology, microbiology, molecular biology/gene engineering, methods validation, pharmacology, NDA, quality assurance, quality control, report writing or calculations.
- experience with an interest in Data.
- Previous R&D management
- Ability to translate high level business needs into more specific requirements for IT teams to develop against (in partnership with a Business Analyst).
- Core to role is to create new Data streams for R&D (the team creates 10-15 new sources of data/yr, with about 6 new sources of data during the time of the role)
