  • Full Time

Do you enjoy working hands-on with in vitro assays and contributing to cutting-edge drug discovery? Whether you're starting out in your career or looking to grow your skills, we have an exciting opportunity for you at Gubra.

We are looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our Molecular Pharmacology Department and support both internal and partnered drug discovery projects.

The department

The Molecular Pharmacology department develops a range of in vitro assays -cellular, non-cellular, enzymatic, binding and more - to support Gubra's highly automated drug screening platform for developing novel peptide drug candidates. The department is committed to delivering high-quality data and continuously implementing new in vitro technologies to support our innovative and technological projects. You'll collaborate closely with scientists and fellow technicians, contributing to multiple exciting projects in parallel.

The core responsibilities of the Molecular Pharmacology department include:

  • Establishing transient and stable cell lines
  • Developing assays to assess peptide potency, utilizing technologies such as HTRF
  • Preforming binding assays (e.g. Octet/BLI)
  • Generating receptor potency screening data for peptide drug candidates using a highly automated workflow.
  • Processing data and documenting experiments.
  • Maintaining and organizing laboratory inventory in collaboration with fellow laboratory technicians to ensure smooth workflows.

Laboratory technician with motivation for teamwork

You thrive in a collaborative environment, as we strongly believe that teamwork and knowledge sharing lead to better results and a more enjoyable workday. You're curious and eager to learn, open to change, and ready to contribute across departments. • You have experience or an interest in binding assays (Octet/BLI)
  • You have experience or interest in cell-based assays and cell culture work
  • You are motivated to work with automation, including pipetting robots and liquid handling systems
  • You have good communication skills in both Danish and English

We offer:

We generate our revenue by performing research for life science companies as well as by partnering projects from our discovery and development pipeline.

Our therapeutic focus is within metabolic and fibrotic diseases, and we specialize in in vivo pharmacology, ex vivo assays, drug profiling, histology, stereology and whole brain and organ imaging. In addition, we offer a full palette of advanced transcriptomics. Our ML/AI-driven peptide drug discovery platform streaMLine enables us to rapidly develop a peptide hit into a non-clinical candidate ready for development. Through a constant focus on high quality, scientific excellence, speed, and solid teamwork we have established ourselves as a highly professional and competent partner in the market.

People are our greatest asset, and our team consists of +270 employees all located in Hrsholm, Denmark.
