We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Scientist to join our newly formed, dynamic team.

As a key member of our compact yet growing group, you'll play a pivotal role in developing models for elucidating mechanism of action and drug discovery. Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with CROs to design and develop in vivo models for elucidation of aging biology

  • Design, develop, and optimize cell-based assays to validate mouse models

  • Assist in management of CRO activities for in vivo efficacy studies

  • Stay current with the latest developments in aging biology and translate new findings into actionable research strategies

  • Present findings to both internal teams and external collaborators/conferences

  • Contribute to patent applications and scientific publications

Qualifications

  • PhD in a relevant field with 1-4 years post-graduate experience or MS in a relevant field with 3-5 years post-graduate experience or BS in a relevant field with more than 5 years post-graduate experience

  • Demonstrable experience working with CROs to develop assays and/or mouse models with delivery of high-quality data

  • Extensive experience in designing, executing, and interpreting in vivo and cell-based assays

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships in a small team setting

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proven track record of scientific publications and/or patents in relevant fields

Desired Skills and Attributes

  • Strong background in aging biology and deep familiarity with key pathways and mechanisms involved in the aging process

  • Self-driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Adaptable and comfortable with changing priorities in a fast-paced research environment

  • Familiarity with in vivo models of longevity and healthspan
