Responsibilities / Expectations:

  • Inspect, test, certify Pressure Relief Valves to the GEA and ASME requirements

  • Inspect incoming materials and parts according to inspection procedures.

  • Assist with disposition of nonconforming purchased parts and materials.

  • Assist in the investigation of field complaints and production problems related to purchased parts and materials.

  • Assist in the maintenance of the calibration program gauges, meters and misc. parts to support the accredited Quality Systems.

  • Perform ASME Traveler Package preparation; perform electrical panel final inspection; understand engineering drawings and specifications to ensure they are followed by production and inspected appropriately; working knowledge of ASME requirements; and reports all issues, errors, and non-conforming parts that will affect GEA products and documents to GEA SQDIP program for continuous improvement efforts.

  • Support training and development of level one quality control technicians.

  • Provide support to continuous improvement projects.

  • Other related duties as determined

Minimum Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent

  • 3-5 years related experience in manufacturing industry

  • Experience with blueprints and diagrams required.

  • Quality Control background in non-destructive testing methods required.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite products required.

The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $20.95-$27.93 per hour . GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States.

The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. You may be eligible for additional rewards, such as discretionary bonus (based on eligibility) and/or equity awards.
