The tester will collaborate with business analysts, operations managers, technical analysts, and end users to ensure testing aligns with project requirements and objectives. The role includes incident management and participation in all phases of testing, including regression testing, to ensure high-quality software delivery. Key Responsibilities: Develop and create detailed test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications. Execute and document manual and automated testing to validate functionality, identify defects, and ensure software quality. Conduct testing across all phases (e.g., functional, regression) to validate software changes and releases. Manage and prioritize incidents, identifying severity and impact on the overall project. Collaborate with business owners, analysts, and vendors to validate software and project deliverables through well-defined test plans, resource allocation, and acceptance criteria. Review project documentation to understand scope and identify inconsistencies or discrepancies, reporting them promptly. Facilitate testing status meetings as needed and provide updates on testing progress. Prepare and identify all required test data, coordinating its collection and ensuring accuracy. Ensure testers have the necessary credentials and environments to perform testing. Identify, document, and escalate risks and issues as they arise during testing. Report and retest incidents or issues in a timely manner to maintain testing integrity. Support and participate in testing events, including weekend testing as required. Design and develop automation testing scripts to improve testing efficiency. Develop and deliver training materials as needed to support testing processes. Required Skills/Experience: 3+ years of experience in testing. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented and highly organized. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities. Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and meet testing deadlines. Deep knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes. Experience writing detailed test plans and test cases. Experience with test automation. Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
