Job Title: Quality Control Chemist
Job Description
This role involves performing routine testing using various chemistry techniques within the pharmaceutical industry. The position requires an individual who can immediately make a significant impact with their expertise.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine testing or other analysis in a specific group or department setting.
- Perform advanced or critical testing as needed.
- Operate specialized equipment and conduct specialized skill testing.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of raw materials testing and release.
- Utilize instruments such as HPLC, GC, ICP, and others for testing purposes.
- Lead investigation activities to resolve issues.
- Ensure compliance with all data integrity and cGMP practices and procedures.
- Adhere to good documentation practices.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in HPLC, GC-MS, ICP, and wet chemistry techniques.
- Experience with quality control measures and analytical chemistry.
- Understanding of raw materials and data entry processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 1-3 years of industry experience for Chemist I level, including co-op experience in a cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing setting.
- 3-5 years of industry experience for Chemist II level preferred.
Work Environment
Join a collaborative team of 15 individuals within the quality department, engaging in cross-departmental collaboration. Work is conducted during the first shift from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
