Job Description

Join our team as a Sr Scientist, where you will support the Analytical Method Development Team as a Subject Matter Expert. You will be instrumental in test method transfer, analytical test method validation, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise will also contribute to test method validation, process validation, and QC testing and development on lipid nanoparticles (LNPs). Additionally, you will support deviations and investigations for Out of Specification (OOS) results, Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for test method transfer and analytical test method validation.
• Assist with test method validation and process validation.
• Support QC testing and development on lipid nanoparticles (LNPs).
• Investigate deviations and support OOS, CAPA, and root cause analysis.
• Drive continuous improvements in processes and methodologies.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in method development, analytical chemistry, and quality control.
• Experience with HPLC, validation, LNP, and protein assays.
• Strong knowledge of analytical method development, protein chemistry, ELISA, capillary electrophoresis, FDA regulations, and PCR.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience, Master's degree with 7+ years of experience, or PhD with 5+ years of experience.
• Understanding of HPLC, capillary electrophoresis, and PCR.
• Experience mentoring and supporting the development of junior scientists.

Work Environment

This role is 100% onsite, operating Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. The position requires travel to Fargo, North Dakota. You will be an individual contributor with responsibilities to mentor other scientists, working within a team of nine and reporting directly to the Sr Manager of Method Validation. High degrees of collaboration and communication skills are essential in this dynamic and growth-oriented environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $110000.00/yr.

They will receive health, dental, vision, 401k. They will get holidays and vacation time as well and a yearly bonus of 10%.

This is a fully onsite position in Waltham,MA.
